Dear Parents/Carers,

You will be pleased to know we have listened to your feedback and responded accordingly.

We were asked if we could forecast the cost of Broadstone’s afterschool clubs for the full academic year 2024/25 so that parents could make allowances and budget in advance. Please see the details attached:

Childcare Vouchers

Given feedback from parents regarding the option to pay with Childcare Vouchers, we are pleased to say that this is now possible.

There have made a number of changes to the booking process in order to make payment via Childcare Voucher possible:

• From the release date you must show your interest and sign up on Parentpay for clubs.
• There are now 2 options: PAY NOW or PAY LATER

PAY NOW is for card payments

PAY LATER is for CHILDCARE VOUCHER payments

If you will be using childcare vouchers please make payment using the provider and then email the Office with the details of your chosen provider

• If you would like to be considered for a pupil premium place please also email the Office. We will confirm when these pupil premium places have been allocated.
• The number of places available for each club remains the same and places remain first come first served. Please do not allow your child to attend a club, until you have had confirmation from us that they have been allocated a place, either paid or pupil premium funded.
• There are no longer waiting lists for Clubs. If a club is showing as full and additional spaces are required, we may be able to re-consider re-opening the booking for the Club.
• Childcare Vouchers can only be used for Broadstone Clubs and not for Guitar Club. Any queries regarding Guitar Club should be directed to Front Row Music.

Y4 FOREST SCHOOL CLUB IS BACK!

Y4-6 DRAMA CLUB IS NOW A CLOSED GROUP AND WILL ONLY BE ALLOCATED TO THOSE WHO ATTENDED AUTUMN (2).

Broadstone Clubs                will be charged per half term at a price of £5.00 session

Free Pupil premium places

As part of our commitment to inclusion we do not want any child to miss out on clubs due to financial barriers.  Therefore, every club we offer has a small number of funded places offered to pupil premium children.  These places must be requested by parents every half term. They are not automatically rolled over from the previous half term and will be allocated fairly and evenly by school as appropriate.  Teachers can also nominate children who they think will benefit from a particular club.

The HUB

The HUB, our wraparound care is available to book for a discounted price of £8.00 for part sessions if you attend AFTER a school club.

Full sessions from 3.30-6pm are £12.00. Prices are discounted for sibling bookings.

Afterschool Clubs will run EVERY week of a school term apart from the last day of a full term (Spring, Summer & Autumn)
