School & clubs will remain OPEN under new Lockdown 2.0 restrictions

A belated welcome back to one and all, we hope you were able to have some Tier 3 socially distanced fun over the half term. However, just when we thought we were getting to grips with the new Covid rules and restrictions they change again. So. This is what we can deduce so far:

  • School will remain OPEN, to all students, even with the new lockdown rules starting on Thursday 5th November 2020.
  • Breakfast Club & The HUB will remain open (places still available to book via Parentpay) as these come under the umbrella of "Wraparound Care."
  • We are happy to continue to run Afterschool Multisports Clubs with PSCL and Front Row Music following the risk assessments put in place – this has been confirmed by the Stockport LA.

Sadly the uptake on Breakfast Club, The HUB and afterschool clubs has been slim since reopening them this half term.

We understand this is due to families personal circumstances changing; parents are now working from home that weren't before, you have set up your own new childcare bubbles, before we were able to safely reopen ours, and of course, we appreciate confidence has waivered due to Covid.

We want to show you our commitment as a school to returning to the "new normal," so all clubs will remain open for booking on ParentPay and will run with 2 children or more. Unfortunately due to lack of interest:

Monday Year 3 - Multisports CANCELLED

Friday Year 6 Ukulele CANCELLED
